Wear Red Day - Heart Health Month

It's February--the month of hearts! <3 To celebrate and promote awareness, the Grayson County Health Department had Wear Red Day on February 6th, 2024. Staff gathered for a photo and to promote healthy hearts.

"About 695,000 people die of heart disease in the United States every year–that's 1 in every 5 deaths. Coronary heart disease (CHD) is the most common type of heart disease, killing approximately 375,476 people annually. Every year about 805,000 Americans have a heart attack."
