Public Health Internship – GCHD

The Grayson County Health Department is proud to announce the implementation of an internship program. The internship position includes a temporary contract and up to 10 hours a week of work--within the programs at the local health department.

Eligibility: 

• Must be at least 18 years of age or a high school graduate.

• Must be a resident of Grayson County, KY.

• Must pass a criminal background check.

• Must sign and adhere to staff policies and procedures.

• Must be interested in the public health field (public health nurse, environmentalist, HANDS, educator, etc.)

How to apply: 

Given the current uncertainty in governmental spending, GCHD has paused internships that are paid directly by GCHD. At the current time, there are no updates.
